Water, water everywhere and more than a drop to drink!

Civil strife did not stop the Chatila family from treading uncharted territory. Noticing that the water industry was surging with possibilities, and that it was bereft of a single magazine dedicated to reporting on the water industry, the Chatilas faced the wave.

In 1977, and from the heart of Beirut City, Arab Water World (AWW) magazine set sail for the Middle East and North Africa region on its maiden voyage. The bold gamble of a hydro-geologist, Mr. Fathi Chatila, and his wife, the late Mrs. Mona (1944 - 2006), was embraced by success. The magazine quenched the thirst of experts and anybody associated with the water purification, wastewater, irrigation, desalination, and/or energy sectors.

Today, three decades later, AWW is published 12 times a year and still reaches the desktops of water-related professionals, predominantly engineers, contractors, importers/exporters, distributors, manufacturers and suppliers, etc… The Chatilas operate with the same degree of dedication and motivation that prompted them when they first launched the magazine. AWW remains the reigning magazine breaking the waves of silence in the water industry by introducing new companies in that lucrative business and keeping readers informed.

Since CPH always seeks to make a splashy presence at local, national, and international forums, in an attempt to deep root its network, AWW participates in major events and exhibitions such as WETEX (UAE), the Big 5 Show (UAE), Aquatec (Cairo), Project Lebanon (Lebanon), Saudi Agriculture (Riyadh), Water Middle East (Bahrain), to name but a few. Event organizers also use AWW to gain access to new markets and attract exhibitors as well as visitors to their events.

30 years of good, honest sweat, dedication, and commitment to the field have watered its growth in the Middle East and North Africa. AWW serves as an unrivaled reliable source of information and a bridge between highly advanced industrial countries and developing ones in the MENA region.
