Editor in ChiefGraduated with a BSC in Geology in 1960 from the University of Miami, Florida, Fathi Chatila is the founder and owner of Chatila Publishing House. He has been publishing the Arab Water World magazine since 1977. Between 1963 and 1969, Fathi Chatila worked in a joint project between the Lebanese Government and the UNDP which called for studying the groundwater aquifers in Lebanon.
As a veteran hydro geologist, he also worked with the
Lebanese Ministry of Hydraulic & Electric Affairs between 1970-1976, studying the interior basins of Lebanon, namely Litani, Orontes and Hasbani Rivers.
